USA Swimming is now saying there is more to the sudden resignation of Delaware AD Chrissi Rawak for their CEO position than they initially announced.

USA Swimming's board of governors said Friday night that Delaware athletic director Chrissi Rawak will not assume the role as CEO and president because of "unforeseen personal circumstances that we learned about late this week.

USA Swimming’s Board of Directors told its members in a letter on Wednesday that it has “reactivated” its search for a CEO.

While this is incredibly difficult there is nothing more important than my family and this is what I needed,” Chrissi Rawak reportedly texted staff.
