All eyes are on April 22 as a crucial date in the ongoing negotiations between the San Francisco 49ers and quarterback Brock Purdy. That's when the team begins its offseason program—just two days before the 2025 NFL Draft.

Nacua: “No. Mid-four.” There are currently 10 quarterbacks making at least $50 million per year, but Nacua doesn’t think Purdy will join that group. Interestingly, he believes the 49ers’ Super Bowl window will close if they pay Purdy $50 million annually.

There's not really a question at this point about whether the San Francisco 49ers will give Brock Purdy a contract extension this offseason. What is still a massive question is what exactly his contract terms will look like.
