JERUSALEM/GAZA, July 27 (Reuters) - Israel on Sunday announced a halt in military operations for 10 hours a day in parts of Gaza and new aid corridors as Jordan and the United Arab Emirates airdropped supplies into the enclave, where images of starving Palestinians have alarmed the world.
More humanitarian aid was airdropped into Gaza for a second day after Israel announced a daily 10-hour pause in some areas to improve aid flow.

The Kingdom of Jordan will airdrop humanitarian aid into Gaza as Palestinians face widespread starvation and diplomatic talks over a ceasefire breakdown.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire despite Israel's efforts to improve the delivery of humanitarian aid, a European Commission spokesperson said on Thursday. Israel has made some efforts towards improving the delivery of humanitarian aid to the population in Gaza,
"The prolonged suffering of innocent civilians in Gaza arising from the excessive Israeli military reaction to the terror attacks of Hamas since Oct 7, 2023, is unconscionable," said Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
