Last July, Nick Kurtz was selected fourth overall by the Athletics in the 2024 MLB Draft. This July, he became the 20th player, and the first rookie, in MLB history to post a four-homer game, leading the A's to a 15-3 win over the Houston Astros on Friday.

The former Midland Rockhound Nick Kurtz has been tearing up the big leagues during his time with the Athletics. In his rookie season, Kurtz has 76 hits, 59 RBI’s, 23 home runs, all on a .308 batting average.

Much has been written about this performance already, seeing as it happened a few days ago, but I wanted the chance to comment on what it means for Fantasy Baseball, because I think there are four major takeaways.
