The Hoosier Lottery says a winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 correctly matched four out of the five numbers plus the Powerball in Saturday's drawing. The winning ticket was sold at the Tobacco Road located at 8404 Southeastern Avenue on the southeast side of Indianapolis.

A Powerball ticket sold in California won the $527 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched five winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Saturday, March 29, the California Lottery said. The lucky ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven in Anaheim, which is about a 25-mile drive southeast from Los Angeles, officials said.
Powerball tickets can be purchased at any New York Lottery retailer for $2, seven days a week. The deadline for purchasing a ticket is 10 p.m. on draw nights. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m., and the New York Lottery urges players to buy tickets early to avoid last-minute lines.
