Five rail bridges along SEPTA's Chestnut Hill East Regional Rail line are in need of repairs, and the line is shutting down until Sept. 2 when the repairs are complete.
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- SEPTA announced plans to rehab five bridges along the Chestnut Hill East Regional Rail Line. The work is set to begin on Sunday, June 15, and run through September 2.
The Philadelphia Fire Department was on scene on April 29 at the Mt. Airy Station along the Chestnut Hill East line working on the overhead power system, SEPTA officials said.
