India postpones winter games in Kashmir citing 'insufficient snowfall'
India postponed its national winter games on Monday citing a lack of snow in the northern Kashmir territory's ski resort of Gulmarg, where the event was to be held this month.

GULMARG- The Gulmarg leg of the Khelo India Winter Games 2025, originally set to begin on February 15, has been postponed due to insufficient snowfall. Events scheduled for February 22 to 25, including alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, ski mountaineering, and snowboarding, were to take place.
