HELENA - The new Montana Capitol ornaments were unveiled Monday, just as former first lady Betty Babcock announced she is retiring from group responsible for the building's restoration.

The General Assembly is moving into its new home next to Capitol Square, which opens to the public on Oct. 11, three months before the next legislative session begins.
