'Alien: Earth" oozes into Comic-Con Day 2, 'Predator: Badlands' slays and 'Tron: Ares' dazzles
Con. Disney unveiled details about “Tron: Ares,” which stars Jared Leto, Jeff Bridges and Greta Lee at an evening presentation in Comic-Con's famed Hall H. It will be the third feature film in the “Tron” franchise that kicked off with the hit 1982 film and had a 2010 sequel,
"Alien: Earth" arrives in less than a month, and I'm getting increasingly excited (and a little worried) about my most anticipated TV show of 2025.
Set in 2120, just two years before the events of the original Alien, Alien: Earth introduces viewers to Wendy (Sydney Chandler), a twelve-year-old girl put into a synthetic adult body by Prodigy, one of five mega corporations on the planet, along with the familiar antagonist company Weyland-Yutani.
Alien: Earth has made an impact at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, and with both Alien and Predator having the biggest presence they’ve ever had at this convention, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to get a first-hand look at what’s to come later this year.

Badlands trailer is full of alien beasts, gorgeous sci-fi vistas, and a Yautja hero who finds an unlikely ally in a synthetic.
Timeline-wise, it jumps way back. Each story sits in its historical pocket, way before almost all the other Predator or Alien movies. These are the oldest Predator hunts we’ve seen—unless you count Prey from 1719, which barely squeaks in earlier.
Earth has not long finished in Hall H at San Diego Comic Con, and the first reactions from the audience are starting to hit the Twitter feeds. The reaction so far has been largely positive, with Hawley's distinctive style making itself known.
