Brendan Rodgers has acknowledged the actions of the Celtic support during the scheduled minute's silence against Kilmarnock.

Does the fact that it happens every year mean that we should simply shrug our shoulders and look the other way? Or worse, should the fact that a tiny portion of the British public object to it mean that we should abandon it altogether in future?

A Remembrance Sunday minute’s silence before Celtic’s clash with Kilmarnock had to be abandoned after just nine seconds before the Hoops’ 2-0 away win at Rugby Park yesterday. Loud booing had first been heard as the hosts’ captain Kyle Vassell approached the middle of the pitch with a wreath.

Celtic fans also waved Irish and Palestinian flags and displayed a banner accusing Britain of genocide ahead of their Scottish Premiership match with Kilmarnock
