Last season, West Florida defensive tackle Traevon Mitchell dominated the Gulf South Conference. In nine games, the 6-foot, 265-pound standout posted 46 total tackles, 17.5 TFLs, 7.5 sacks, two pass breakups and two quarterback hits for the Argonauts. That productive season earned Mitchell the GSC co-Defensive Player of the Year award.
