Fossie: Not a great performance but a win is a win. With all the possession we had, we should be scoring more. However, it is good to see academy players being played, with six in the team at the end. The academy is proving its worth and we do not need to spend money to bring in more players. We will need a better performance in the final though.

Chelsea secured a narrow 1-0 win against Djurgardens IF in the second-leg tie of the UEFA Conference League 2024-25 semi-final match at Stamford Bridge on 8 May, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s first-half strike the only goal of the game.

Chelsea eased into the final of the Conference League with a comfortable victory over Swedish side Djurgarden. After winning the away leg 4-1 last week, Enzo Maresca’s side completed the rout at Stamford Bridge where Reggie Walsh, at 16 years at 200 days, became the youngest player to start a European game for the club.
