Haltom City police have identified a car involved in a Sept. 15 road rage shooting that killed a 16-year-old boy, and detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify suspects in the case.

A 16-year-old hospitalized last week following a road rage shooting in Haltom City has died, police said Tuesday. The teen, whose identity was not released by police, died Monday evening, according to investigators.

HALTOM CITY, Texas - A 16-year-old boy is fighting for his life after a suspected road rage shooting in Haltom City. The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday as two vehicles stopped at the light at the intersection of East Belknap Street and Layton Avenue.

The shooting happened on Sept. 15 between 4:15 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. near the 4400 block of East Belknap Road in Haltom City.
