A Netflix sequel to Adam Sandler’s hit 1996 film briefly recaptures the warm silliness of the original, before devolving into a lazy fever dream of cameos.

The movie people have been waiting for for 29 years has been released. And critics say it's just...okay? "Happy Gilmore 2" the sequel to the beloved 90s comedy, premiered on Netflix on Friday, July 25.
