Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said Wednesday that an unconditional cease-fire between Lebanon and Israel is "the first priority," calling for intensifying international and Arab efforts to prevent dragging the region into a large-scale war.

Three Israelis were injured on Monday by the fragments of an interceptor missile after a rocket salvo from Lebanon, the Israeli media said. A military statement said some 50 rockets were fired from Lebanon into northern Israel, triggering air-raid sirens in the Galilee region.
