A woman was killed and five other people were hurt when gunfire erupted early Sunday at a large outdoor gathering on Chicago's West Side – one of three separate shootings to occur in the same neighborhood in fewer than three hours, according to police.

Four people were wounded, including two teens, in a mass shooting overnight on the city's West Side. Chicago police said around 1:47 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a person shot call in the 4500 block of West Wilcox Street, and found multiple gunshot victims.

A 22-year-old woman is dead after being shot in the back early Sunday on Chicago's West Side. The mass shooting also left five others, ranging in age from 17 to 29, injured, NBC Chicago reports. Three were in critical condition after the 2:48am shooting.
