A woman was killed and two other people, including an infant, were injured in a shooting involving a suspect who also opened fire on law enforcement in Stockton on Saturday, police said.

A woman died and a child was injured Saturday night after a domestic violence call turned into a standoff in north Stockton.

A suspect wanted in connection to a deadly shooting in Stockton was arrested in Merced County, authorities said Friday.

The Stockton Police have a suspect in custody who was involved in an hours-long standoff that resulted in a woman and a 1-year-old being shot.

The suspect was charged with homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment and weapons charges, police said.
