Texas Tech was No. 5 in last week's College Football Playoff rankings and on Sunday jumped two spots to No. 5 in The Associated Press poll.
South Carolina is currently ranked No. 6 in the seasons’ first NET rankings. This is the first time since the first women’s basketball NET rankings were released in the 2020-21 season that South Carolina is not in the top five. The top five in Monday’s rankings are: No. 1 LSU, No. 2 UConn, No. 3 Texas, No. 4 UCLA and No. 5 Michigan.

Texas A&M drops four spots in AP Poll
Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Alabama and Brigham Young followed at No. 8, 9, 10 and 11, respectively, in the same spots as last week. Miami (FL) and Vanderbilt swapped places at No. 12 and No. 13 with the Longhorns moving up two spots to No. 14 at Utah rounding out the top 15.
