Although it’s a remnant of Green Giant’s presence in Le Sueur, corn and pea processing took place at a Commerce Street plant that had long been shuttered by the time of its demolition in 2016.

The divestiture comes about eight years after B&G purchased Green Giant and Le Sueur from General Mills for $765 million, marking the company’s first entry into the frozen food segment.
