Cam Little won't be getting his name in the NFL record book after smashing a 70-yard field goal on Saturday night, but he will certainly have some bragging rights and that's because his improbable kick appears to be the longest field goal in a game by any kicker in the history of football.

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little's 70-yard field goal against the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night would have been an NFL record if it wasn't a preseason game. Little made the kick at the end of the first half at outdoor EverBank Stadium to close the Jaguars' deficit to 14-9 of what would be a 31-25 Steelers victory in the preseason opener for both teams.

Bears kicker Cairo Santos made a 57-yard field goal to end the first half. Had Sunday been a regular season game, the kick would have been the longest of his career. “I was joking with him, we probably didn’t need that many yards,” coach Ben Johnson said. “We could have kicked it from backed up, the way he nailed that thing.”
