Following its announcement on New Year's Day that Melt Bar and Grilled was shutting down for good, the restaurant is holding a wake for itself to sell off memorabilia.

CLEVELAND — After downsizing in 2023 and 2024 to just its one location in Lakewood, the owner of Melt Bar and Grilled announced Wednesday that he has decided to close the restaurant down for good.

Melt Bar and Grilled Owner Matt Fish told 19 News the decision to close the original restaurant permanently was difficult, made after countless efforts to return the business to pre-pandemic growth.
