Giants fans, who walk into MetLife Stadium this season, will see a large, brand-new addition at midfield featuring the iconic, lower-case “ny” logo.

T he New York Giants will kick off their 100th season on September 8 when they host the Minnesota Vikings. ... their current main helmet, to their primary logo used during the 1950-1955 seasons.

The New York Yankees will also hold an event honoring the Giants, who played at Yankee Stadium during the 1956-1973 seasons. That will be on August 4, when the Yankees host the Toronto Blue Jays.
