Two of the four images are of Lord Buddha in the sitting meditation posture. They are 11 centimetres wide and 28cm tall. There are 23 small Buddha images depicted on each of the two images.

The Maravijaya Buddha Image weighs 1,782 tonnes and stands tall at 19.2m, and is accompanied by a 5.5m-tall throne that weighs another 3,510 tonnes.
