Utah has banned LGBTQ+ pride flags in all public schools and on government property after Gov. Spencer Cox (R) allowed a bill banning the display of any unauthorized flags to become law without his signature.
SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah became the first state to prohibit flying LGBTQ+ pride flags at schools and all government buildings after the Republican governor announced he was allowing a ban on unsanctioned flag displays to become law without his signature.
Gov. Cox said he agreed with the “underlying intent” of the bill to make classrooms politically neutral but thought it went too far in regulating local governments.
Since 1945, this mineral has been widely added to U.S. drinking water to prevent cavities. While the safety of water fluoridation has been debated since the 1940s, recent years have seen heightened concerns.
