Uniqlo and Adidas warn of upcoming price hikes in the US due to new tariffs imposed on Asian manufacturing hubs by former President Trump, causing supply chain disruptions and increased costs for global apparel brands.

Sportswear brand Adidas warned on Wednesday that it may have to hike prices in the United States, after reporting U.S. tariffs would add around 200 million euros ($231 million) to costs in the second half.

German sportswear giant Adidas warned Wednesday that it might raise prices in the United States due to tariffs that could cost it an extra 200 million euros ($230 million) this year. It warned the levies would add around 200 million euros to its costs in the second half of the year,
