BOSTON — The Red Sox lost some first base depth Friday as Ryan Noda was claimed off waivers by the White Sox. Boston designated Noda, a 29-year-old first baseman/outfielder, for assignment Monday to make room on the 40-man roster for top prospect Roman Anthony.
