The annual Associated Press All-America team tradition turns 100 with the 2025 college football season, and to celebrate the centennial, the AP constructed a pair of all-time teams honoring the greatest players to step foot on the college gridiron.

Bednarik, who was named an all-time All-America among the AP’s first-team selections, made the list at the center position and is the only player from a Philly-area university on the list.

Clemson, Georgia and Ohio State, the defending national champs, lead the way with four picks. Alabama, LSU, Penn State and Texas are next with three apiece. Here is The Athletic ’s 2025 preseason All-America team.
