Maryland mother Darrian Randle and her boyfriend Cedrick Britten are accused of killing a toddler and attempting to hide her body before a false Delaware Amber Alert sparked an investigation.

A day later, County police announced the cancellation of the alert, saying the girl's mother − 31-year-old Darrian Randle − concocted a story that Dinkins was abducted at gunpoint.

Randle had initially told police that her daughter was kidnapped at gunpoint from the 500 block of Gender Road in Newark, Delaware, around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
