Mike Lindell, creator of the MyPillow and a noted conspiracy theorist, has announced he is running for governor of Minnesota to unseat Gov. Tim Walz.

MyPillow founder Mike Lindell announced his bid for Minnesota governor on Dec. 11. Lindell — known for his late-night infomercials and for denying the results of the 2020 election — is a longtime ally of President Donald Trump.

Trump dubbed Minnesota “a hub of fraudulent money laundering activity” after a conservative news outlet, City Journal, reported last month that taxpayer dollars from defrauded government programs have flowed to the Somali militant group al-Shabab.
