The former Major League Baseball pitcher convicted of shooting his in-laws at their Lake Tahoe home wants new lawyers.

Daniel Serafini filed a motion for continuance, seeking new attorneys before sentencing for his murder conviction.

The sentencing of the former Major League Baseball player who shot his in-laws in 2021 could be delayed after the defendant filed to change attorneys on Friday, the Placer County Superior Court said.
