Updated: Nov. 28, 2025, 9:41 p.m. CLEVELAND, Ohio — The high school football season has decided its final matchups. Champions will be crowned next week. On Friday night, Northeast Ohio had six teams alive for state titles, including two in Division II. Their state semifinal matchups included:

Cass Tech and Detroit Catholic Central entered the postseason as the top two teams in the final MLive Top 25 as well as No. 1 and No. 2 in the final Division 1 AP rankings. Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 30 with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network.

Saturday marks the end of the 2025 fall season. The Class 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A state championship games will take place throughout the day, and The Oregonian/OregonLive will have live updates from all over the state.
