After inheriting her grandfather's 500-year-old castle in France, Daphne Reckert and her husband Ian Figueira have taken on the tall task of renovating Château de Lésigny.

Figueira studied abroad in Paris so he was able to join her as she cared for her ailing grandfather. The couple got engaged in March 2020, followed by a wedding that December.

HGTV is following along as Daphne Reckert and Ian Figueira renovate a 500-year-old castle in France, and, after just three episodes, viewers are seriously invested in their progress.
