Local leaders thank Pollio for his time as JCPS superintendent as he announces retirement
The leader of the Kentucky’s largest school district, JCPS Superintendent Marty Pollio, announced his retirement on Friday. Pollio will step down at the end of the school year after seven years at the helm. JCPS Board Member Corrie Shull praised Pollio’s leadership, stating, “Dr. Pollio has been a tremendous leader.”
