STORY: As torrential rain in South Korea eased on Monday (July 21) the devestation was clear after days of severe wet weather triggered floods and landslides.Authorities say at least 18 people are dead and multiple people are still missing.

Heavy rains pounded South Korea for a third day on Friday in a deluge that has killed at least four people, forced thousands of people to evacuate their homes and destroyed property and infrastructure.

Days of heavy rain swept away cars, homes and businesses in multiple cities in South Korea. Thousands of people were evacuated across the southern region as some areas received as much as 31 inches of rain.
