On Friday, the Green Bay Packers announced first-round pick Matthew Golden would wear the No. 81 uniform. A day later, the team announced a big change -- instead of No. 81, Golden is taking No. 22, a truly odd number for a wide receiver.

As shared by Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, the Packers have announced that Golden will wear the No. 22 jersey instead of No. 81. ESPN currently has Golden listed as the No. 3 wide receiver on Green Bay's depth chart. There is a good chance he will have a role right off the bat with the Packers.
