Some parts of Massachusetts are expected to see a heavy snow storm starting on Tuesday, according to National Weather Service forecasts — with some impacts hitting the Boston area.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for McLean County portions of eight states from late Friday through 6 a.m. Sunday. The weather service says the Bloomington-Normal area is likely to receive at least six inches of snow.

Two new snowstorms are expected to hit Colorado this week — one already brewing in the mountains Sunday morning and another expected to arrive midweek, according to forecasters.

Later this afternoon and evening are expected to bring the heaviest snowfall and the worst conditions on the roads across a big part of Michigan.

As November turns to December, the Baltimore area will see several chances for snow and wintry mixes this week.
