In 4A softball, North Augusta and Midland Valley battled in an elimination game in the South Carolina High School League state tournament. It was a highly anticipated rematch from last week. The Yellowjackets were hoping to seek some revenge after falling 16-7 against the Mustangs at Riverview Park last week.

Haley Homan led Windsor at the dish, going 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Kaihla Jarvinen went 2-for-4 with a home run, double and an RBI, while Ella Matson and Pearl McKay each had a double. For Carrillo, Gabrielle Burk-Chavez went 2-for-4 with a double, home run and four RBIs.
