The WWE made sure that SummerSlam 2025 lived up to its “biggest party of the summer” moniker in all meanings of the phrase. Cardi B hosted the inaugural two-night iteration of the annual event emanating from the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Jade Cargil, a WWE Queenpin who’s shown love for Cardi in the past, competed for the Women’s Championship against Tiffany Stratton during SummerSlam on Saturday. Cardi stood up and cheered for Cargil during her ring entrance. Cargil applauded her company’s choice to have Cardi as host.

Cardi B made her long-awaited WWE debut on Saturday night (Aug. 2) as the host of night one of SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium. After years of playful teasing with fans and WWE superstars, the Bronx firecracker finally stepped into the ring.
