Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission
The Commission, also known as MPOETC, was created in 1974 to establish certification and training standards for municipal police in Pennsylvania. The Commission announced in a recent press release that it will begin accepting letters of interest for potential new Act 120 police academies on August 1.

No.87 MAP 2014, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court struck down SORNA's Juvenile Offender registration requirements as unconstitutional. Juveniles are no longer required to register in Pennsylvania, except if they are classified by the Court as a Sexually Violent Delinquent Child.
