"Slubbing" aka "slobber-rubbing" happens when an opossum really loves something and wants to put their scent on it to claim it. Opie, who was one of our educational ambassador opossums, would "slub" nearly anything you put in front of him. His favorite items to slub included really stinky shoes, freshly washed hair, trash bags, and cardboard boxes. He was such a special guy who will be forever missed! 💔 #opossum #opossumlove #slubbing #wildliferehab #werlingwildlife | Werling Wildlife Rehabilit
