Prime Minister Hun Manet has officially announced the return of the large-scale Angkor Sankranta event in Siem Reap for the 2025 Khmer New Year celebrations, aiming to attract more tourists and showcase Cambodia’s cultural heritage. Speaking yesterday at a graduation ceremony for students of the Southeast Asia University in Siem Reap, the Premier confirmed the festival’s revival. “This April, we will organise a large Angkor Sankranta event here in Siem Reap once again,” he said. | Khmer Times
