We observed 23 species this morning for the #greatbackyardbirdcount! Sometimes it feels overwhelming (in a good way) birding in a new town, most bird songs are different, so it’s harder to ear-bird, but I love challenges like this! Also I love birding with my partner and it’s a great way for us to connect with each other and nature 🥰 We’ve seen 41 species on this trip so far.
