On view through September 5, ‘Optical Dazzle: Op Art at the McNay’ investigates the sensation of looking at art. Short for Optical Art, Op art emerged in the 1960s as a distinct style of art that creates the sense of illusion or movement. The exhibition features works of art by Yaacov Agam, Richard Anuszkiewicz, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Bridget Riley, Susie Rosmarin, and Julian Stanczak, as well as a rarely-seen sculpture by the Venezuelan artist Jesús Rafael Soto. | McNay Art Museum

ART HOTEL MAGDEBURG I usually don't enjoy staying in hotels, but last night my record company booked me into the really playful "Art Hotel" in Magdeburg. I love this architectural style.
