Last week, we brought 20 giant clams (variety: tridacna gigas) from Bolinao , Pangasinan and put them in their new homes in front of the house! Why giant clams? - they help filter the ocean waters - they help recycle nutrients in ocean waters - they provide food and habitat for small organisms (like fish!) We are so excited to see them grow.
