Stepping into the holidays as a busy mum means my hands are never free - but at least my shoes are 😅✨ My Skechers Hands-Free Slip-Ins let me step in and go while juggling kids, bags, snacks… you name it. The molded heel frame and Heel Pillow keep my foot secure every single time, so I can dash out the door without the usual fuss. If you’re in full festive-mode chaos too, check them out at Skechers.com or pop into a Skechers store, they’re a total game changer. | Muddle Through Mummy

Who remembers jumping beans as a kid!? 🫘 If you’re looking for easy things to do with kids this Easter holidays, try making these fun little jumping beans using just tin foil and a marble. How to make them: • Wrap tin foil around a pen to make a tube (check the marble fits when choosing your pen) • Fold one end closed • Drop the marble inside • Pinch the other end closed, leaving about a marble’s worth of space • Shake it in a container so the marble shapes the foil into a tighter “bean” Place

£50 off code in caption⬇️ If you’ve ever searched ‘log cabins with hot tubs’ you need to know about Forest Holidays AD. Use code: MUDDLE50 for £50 off any Forest Holidays stay in 2026 (ends 2nd Feb). We’ve just got back from our fourth stay with them, this time at Delamere Forest and it was a much-needed chance to slow down, recharge and spend proper quality time together as a family. The cabins are tucked away in the largest woodland area in the county, (some) are pet friendly, and all designed

Our favourite Christmas tradition 🎄⬇️ For the past few years we’ve done a family activity advent calendar and this isn’t about skipping chocolate (you can absolutely pop a chocolate coin in too 🍫), but for me it’s a little reminder of what I actually love most about Christmas: spending time together. Each day the kids pull out a fun, simple activity we can do as a family - from free things at home like baking or crafting, to local community events, or the occasional paid-for treat like tobogga

Festive prep, but make it easier ✨🎄 AD My go-to mum hack for putting up the Christmas tree: wear your @marigold_uk gloves. They’re triple layered for unbeatable durability, perfect for protecting your hands from those prickly artificial branches. The roll-top cuffs keep sleeves bone dry, and the cotton lining grippy pattern make everything comfier and easier to handle. Honestly, a small switch that makes a big difference during the Christmas rush. #mumlife #mumhack #christmas hacks decoratewithm

Is Bluestone at Christmas worth the hype? In case you’ve never been, Bluestone in Pembrokeshire, Wales is a holiday park kind of known as a cheaper alternative to Center Parcs. We’ve been before during summer and loved it, it’s got a fab pool with slides and loads of activities the whole family will enjoy. This was an ADpr stay and we’re very grateful to come here however this will not sway my opinion on the experience and I am free to share my honest feedback. This year’s festive theme is Kingd

£9.50 holiday in the South of France 🇫🇷✨ We’re staying at a 5* campsite near Fréjus and I paid £42 total for the accommodation… which still feels mad to say out loud 😅 Travel day was pretty smooth overall - flew Bristol to Nice (about 2 hours) and hired a car for £80 so we’ve got the flexibility to explore while we’re here (always my preference with kids). One thing to note: the queues at Nice airport with the new EU entry system were LONG, so just be prepared for that if you’re travelling wi

What’s the weirdest vessel you’ve caught kid 🤮 in? Ours was a welly 🤣 About 6 months ago when Oscar started wearing glasses, he got car sick for the first time & despite not wearing his glasses in the car anymore, he still gets travel sick - I didn’t know that was possible? It was never an issue before. But we’ve learned the hard way that helping kids with car sickness can make a huge difference in making trips more bearable (for them and for you). So here’s a list of things you can try if you
