When a table needs to look like it was built in the first century you have to get creative. I honestly hate the idea of “distressing” a piece of furniture so to keep this as authentic looking as possible my strategy was to touch every surface with a hand tool. It’s the first time I’ve built a piece of furniture without smoothing surfaces with sand paper. It’s kinda liberating to be honest with you!!
