60 years ago: the “Twini Moke” In January 1963, when England was covered in a carpet of snow, the prototype twin-engined Mini Moke 4x4 (powered by two 848cc Mini engines) was demonstrated to the Press who were amazed at the way it could push a small front-mounted plough through drifts.
