Inspired by the Andean Highlands, the new habitat lets our flamingos live their best lives and gives you—our guests and members—a perfect up-close viewing experience. Just in time for #PinkFlamingoDay and Pride Month, we're sharing an update on our fabulous flockstars! 🦩 Flamingos are extremely social by nature and flocks consist of collections of partnerships ranging from friends, families, frenemies and lovers! These bonds include not only male-female breeding pairs, but also strong bonds between same-sex pairs. Our most famous same-sex couple was 55-year-old American flamingo Freddie Mercury and 23-year-old Chilean flamingo Lance Bass. Freddie and Lance b
