All Holstein cattle are born with horns whether they are male or female. Some farmers remove the horns for safety, but with Oscar living a Sanctuary life, it was important to me that he kept these horns to truly enjoy his life. He uses his horns for many things including releasing heat in the summer, foraging trees for food , protecting himself and others. Nobody can ever tell me that I should have removed them.
